For late-diagnosed adults

A diagnosis is the start, not the answer.

Many adults in Ireland get an ADHD diagnosis and are then handed very little. Steady fills the gap between getting the news and learning how to live well with it.

What changes after diagnosis

You finally have a frame for years of self-criticism. You also have new questions: medication, work, relationships, finance, sleep, identity. Steady helps you work through them at a calm pace — without claiming to replace your psychiatrist, GP or therapist.

What we focus on

  • Psychoeducation grounded in adult ADHD research, not childhood stereotypes.
  • Practical skills for executive function, money, sleep, and rejection sensitivity.
  • Reframing shame and lateness through self-compassion, not productivity hustle.
  • Clear signposting to HSE adult ADHD services and ADHD Ireland peer supports.
